Policy Interests/Expertise Environment and ecological economics through my current studies at University; climate change through studies and attending the UN conference in Copenhagen in 2009; youth issues, especially tertiary education. I also study public policy and politics as part of my degree.
My broad political issues There is an urgent need for Aotearoa to become a sustainable and socially just country. Through my current studies I am seeking ways to achieve this; current Green Party policy would take us a long way towards this goal.
Additional information My mother's family was among the first European settlers in New Zealand, and my father's parents were Hungarian immigrants to Canada. I have lived in Wellington since I was six years old, so I identify both with what it is to be a Kiwi, and what it is to be a global citizen. I have also traveled extensively, giving me my broad world view.
