My broad political issues I joined the party in order to help promote understanding of Peak Oil. That is why energy, transport and localisation are important issues to me. Climate change and social justice are also important, both in themselves and because they mustn't be sacrificed just to prepare for Peak Oil. I disassociate myself from our GCSB policy and some aspects of our Defence policy.

Additional information I have travelled widely and have lived in Australia, Ireland and the UK, and served in East Timor. My iwi is Tuhoe, from Ruatoki in Te Urewera. I'm married with two children.
