Simonne Dyer is married to Bob for 23 years with 8 adult children and 23 grandchildren between them. She was the CEO of the hospital ship, Anastasias, for 10 years and in senior management of the ship for the previous 5 years. During this time Simonne was decorated by the Government of the Ivory Coast and was on the board of several international organisations. Since returning to NZ in 1999, Simonne has set up a relief and development trust working in East Timor, has been involved in community counseling, and works with Bob in their health and nutrition business. She is also a former Board member of Te Herenga Waka O Orewa.
Simmone is encouraged by the interest in the Conservative Party here in Rodney and throughout the country.

Thanks for your question, David, and my apologies for taking so long to respond to you - I was unable to log into the website but now that is solved. The Conservative Party would repeal the ETS as it is a great example of how not to help an economy. There is of course much scientific debate over the effect of human habitation on the environment and views range from having "little or no impact" to the "end of the world" scenario. What is agreed on is that New Zealand reducing emissions has no impact on a worldwide scale. It is time to do the right thing by our farmers and business owners and consumers. If we repeal this tax immediately we can all reap the benefits of cheaper fuel and electricity. Warm regards, Simonne
