My broad political issues: My vision is that New Zealand becomes a sustainable society and a responsible global citizen. For that we must rediscover our egalitarian roots; attain a genuine partnership between pakeha and tangata whenua; honour our international obligations; meet our climate change responsibilities; commit to a nuclear-weapon-free world; promote fair trade and more effective aid; and respect all civilisations and faiths around the world. Rather than seeking a competitive national advantage within a commercial mind-set within government, we should promote the vision of global unity through civil society in the face of the daunting global challenges which humanity faces.

Additional information: I have lived and worked in ten countries and I understand the differences and tensions around the world. We are relatively well off here, but we have our issues. I believe we can do better, to sort out our own national problems, and to make a more enlightened contribution to the world. I think I can help.
