Policy Interests/Expertise Conservation and environmental education, active transport and sustainable local economies. Education is my profession and I am keen to ulilise my experience. Cycling is my passion and I'd like to enable more people to benefit from it. Living in Lyttelton is my great fortune and I aspire to assist with building other similar progressive, resilient communities, towns and cities around NZ.

My broad political issues Genetic engineering and loss of food sovereignty first galvanised me to join the Greens. Similar injustices associated with climate change, water, public services, local government, energy and ecosystems keep me campaigning. Meanwhile the Green success stories such as holding up the proposed mining and exposing GE leaks inspire me to kia kaha and stand as a candidate again.

Additional information I love tramping, kayaking, cycling and sharing my passion for the beautiful NZ environment with others. I speak fluent French and rusty German.
