Jesse Misa is originally from the Philippines and having received his citizenship has been living in New Zealand since 1991.

He is married to Princess and has two teenage children. He is a ship's captain by profession and has been involved with a New Zealand Christian Maritime and Humanitarian Organisation for 21 years presently serving as International Director.

Captain Jesse as he is fondly called by friends and colleagues leads a team of dedicated volunteers of mariners, doctors, nurses, ordinary men and women and youth who has so far brought free medical services to over 300,000 indigents in 16 nations across the liquid continent. He has also been involved in training young people and reaching out to disenfranchised youth in New Zealand and abroad.

He has a passion to see New Zealand youth discover their potential as future citizens of Aotearoa. He would like see families get better support from government to accomplish that goal of strengthening the basic requirement of nation building which is the family unit. The Conservative Party supports these ideals as part of its core values and Jesse champions them.
